Each year, the Willard InterContinental proudly hosts the National Thanksgiving Turkeys ahead of their official Presidential Pardon at the White House. This cherished tradition symbolizes gratitude and marks the start of the holiday season in Washington, D.C.

For over a decade, the Willard has welcomed these distinguished guests, solidifying its role as a key part of this uniquely American ceremony. This year’s turkeys, raised with care in Northfield, Minnesota, enjoyed a luxurious stay at the Willard, complete with time to “peacock” through our historic Peacock Alley.
