A cherished holiday tradition returns to Willard InterContinental with a spectacular gingerbread creation by award-winning artist Jessica Frost, whose imaginative designs and intricate craftsmanship bring a new creative perspective to the hotel’s annual holiday display.
Recognized for her artistry and attention to detail, Jessica earned the People’s Choice: Best in Show award at the 2022 National Gingerbread House Competition at Omni Grove Park Inn for Engine of America, an elaborate edible creation inspired by American landmarks and the open road.
This year’s display celebrates the magic of the holiday season while honoring the history, character and timeless elegance of Willard InterContinental. Showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and festive imagination, the gingerbread creation promises to be a memorable highlight of the hotel’s holiday celebrations.
On view in the hotel’s ante-lobby starting early December, the 2026 Gingerbread Display invites guests and visitors to experience this beloved tradition alongside the Willard’s seasonal offerings, including holiday afternoon tea, nightly caroling and festive dining experiences.
