Inspired by the baroque style architecture of the Oval Office at The White House, this distinguished suite pays homage to Frederick Douglass, the renowned abolitionist and statesman who spent his later years in Washington, D.C. The custom mural features the Anacostia River, referencing the location of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge and his Cedar Hill estate—powerful symbols of his enduring legacy.

Positioned on the hotel’s east corner, the suite offers stunning views of the Washington Monument. Guests are welcomed into a spacious living room, followed by a marble hallway leading to a peaceful bedroom with one king bed, a walk-in shower and soaking tub, and an oversized work desk with built-in power and USB outlets. A Nespresso machine provides complimentary coffee and tea.
