For over a century, the Crystal Room has played host to many of Washington D.C.’s most elegant social and corporate events. From sophisticated receptions and lavish galas, to prestigious conferences and annual meetings, the Crystal Room offers 2,560 square feet and provides a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable event. Exuding spectacular opulence, the Crystal Room’s design motif includes mottled green columns, crystal-dripping chandeliers, ornate hand-carved gold leaf crown molding, and antique drapery.

Once known as The Willard’s fine dining restaurant, the Willard Room features 3,120 square feet. and is one of the most historic and celebrated venues at The Willard.

Few venues in D.C. rival Willard’s newly renovated Grand Ballroom with its beveled mirrors, crystal chandeliers, and custom carpet. Featuring 4,736 square feet, with an additional 2,176 square feet in the ballroom’s separate entrance foyer, Grand Ballroom is one of Washington’s most notable venues for conferences, receptions and galas.
Named after Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States and guest of Willard in 1853, the Pierce Room offers 1,984 square feet and is a popular favorite among guests looking to host mid-size meetings. Boasting luxurious rich oak paneling and antique brass chandeliers, the Pierce Room exudes contemporary luxury and historic charm. Located on the hotel’s lower level, this notably quiet meeting space can connect to the Buchanan Room when available and at an additional cost, providing an additional 1,156 of meeting space.

Known historically as both the Ladies Lounge (circa 1901) and the old Tea Room, The Nest has evolved and expanded to become one of The Willard’s premier event spaces. Located above the Round Robin Bar on the hotel’s mezzanine level, The Nest is 900 square feet and is an ideal setting for intimate gatherings, including baby and bridal showers, birthday and anniversary luncheons and dinners, small wedding ceremonies, as well as post-wedding brunches. Offering an abundance of natural lighting through its floor-to-ceiling windows, with views of Pennsylvania Avenue, The Nest exudes an air of elegance, warmth, intimacy, and tranquility.

Named after Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President to the United States and frequent guest to The Willard, the Grant Suite is 510 square feet overlooking 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and features floor-to-ceiling windows, an entrance parlor with private restroom, and a hand carved faux fireplace. From small meetings to cocktail receptions for up to 60 people, the Grant Suite is an ideal setting for an intimate event.

Located directly off Peacock Alley, across from the Crystal Ballroom, the Peacock Lounge is an interior meeting room offering 1,276 square feet, perfect for the most private of meetings. A bi-level room, the Peacock Lounge features an entrance foyer on the first level, ideal for a registration area, with the room’s main meeting area located below. Whether booked by itself or in conjunction with the ballrooms across the hall, the Peacock Lounge serves as a great space for pre-dinner receptions, a VIP hospitality suite, or a smaller breakout space.
Located on the ballroom level, the Buchanan Room offers 1,156 square feet of space with the unique ability to connect to four additional meeting spaces via interior connecting doors, including the Grand Ballroom Foyer, the Grand Ballroom, the Pierce Room and the Garfield Room. Offering great flexibility in room set and a natural flow between adjoining rooms, the Buchanan Room is commonly used not only for the food and beverage component of a meeting taking place in the Pierce Room, but also as a supporting space to an event in the Grand Ballroom. Connecting to the Grand Ballroom’s entrance foyer, the Buchanan Room serves as a convenient location for a ballroom’s pre-function event, such as a reception, or as an expanded space to the ballroom foyer’s set-up.

Pershing RoomThe Willard Atrium & Courtyard is comprised of two spaces. The semi-private, glass-enclosed indoor atrium is seamlessly wrapped between the Willard InterContinental and the Willard Office Building, flooding this unique space with natural light. The adjoining seasonal outdoor courtyard is a lush, terraced oasis conveniently hidden between the two buildings.
